The annual church-wide REVIVAL at First Marion will take place this year March 4-7, 2012. We are welcoming our guest speaker Dr. Sonny Tucker, Team Leader for the Evangelism and Church Growth Team of the Arkansas Baptist Convention. There will be special music in each service. Shay Caldwell of "Wacky Time Live" will be leading in the Children's Revival.

Sunday Sunday School and Worship at 9:00 and 10:30 am
Sunday night worship at 6:00 pm
Monday-Wednesday night there will be supper at 5:15 pm, Revival Choir Rehearsal at 6:00 pm, and Worship at 6:30 pm.

Join us Christmas Eve at 5:00 pm or Christmas morning at 10:30 am for a special time of worship at Christmas! The services will feature the theme: "This is Christmas." This year we want to give you two wonderful options as to which service you will attend. Both services will be identical and we would love to see you and the people you invite to attend with you at one of the services. Make your plans now to be present for a Christmas service! Additionally, we will be having only one worship service on New Year's Day, Sunday, January 1, 2012 at 10:30 am.

On Sunday night, November 6, 2011, First Marion ordained Ronnie Williams (L) and Kevin Spence (R) into the Deacon Ministry. After being elected by the church, both men were examined by an 18 member ordination council in October 2011. The council unanimously recommended to the church that these men be ordained.

Pastor Clay Hallmark was recently recognized by the Arkansas Baptist Convention for his two years of service as President of the Arkansas Baptist Convention. Dr. Emil Turner, Executive Director, presented him with a plaque of appreciation at the recent annual meeting at FBC, Little Rock.

Now is the time to register for an adventure of a life-time to walk where Jesus walked and allow God's Word to come alive in the Holy Land. Pastor Clay Hallmark will be leading a tour to the Holy Land in February 2012. The all inclusive trip cost has been reduced this year to $3,450.00 per person. First Baptist Church is about to launch its third mission church since 2003. In partnership with the Mississippi County Baptist Association and the Arkansas Baptist Convention, FBC will launch HARVEST BAPTIST CHURCH in Wilson, Arkansas on Easter Sunday, April 24th at 11:00 am. The new church is located at 5 Levee View Street and Union Avenue in Wilson. Bobby Wheeler Jr will be the church's interim pastor and Landon West will serve as the Music Minister.

The grieving process can be difficult, but now there is help! GRIEF SHARE is one of the care ministries at First Baptist Marion that meets on Monday nights at 6:30 pm in the GLC (gymnasium building) Room 311. We are excited about what God has done through our Revival. We saw 10 people trust Jesus as their Savior and 4 others join FBC. There were many other important commitments and decisions. Thank you to Dr. Mark Grubb and Larry Grayson for leading us in Revival.
